Everyone can be an android developer

Google has launched an attempt to help everyone an Android software developer. The search giant is looking to increase its app inventory as well as the Android market and has the momentum and open approach to simply give Apple a run.

Today, Google Introduces Do-It-Yourself Android Application Tool. The tool, which is accessible now in Google Labs, is named App Inventor.

To create applications with App Inventor you don't need to be a developer. App Inventor requires NO programming knowledge. This is because rather than writing code, you visually design the way the app looks and use blocks to specify the app's behavior.

The debate around App Inventor in these days focalizes on quality of applications. Will quality suffer if non-techies use App Inventor? Probably not. Let's get real here. The mobile app quality isn't so hot to start with. Many apps are absolutely needless on Android and iPhone. However, the beauty here is that useless is in the eye of the beholder.

Now I'm never going for the Wonder Bread app, but some sandwich junkie might imagine it is the smartest thing ever. There's something to be said for allowing anyone to make a quiz app (right). Sure, there'll be clunkers, but open mobile apps and let the marketplace demand decide.

Google goes to open Android up to the masses and possibly pass the iPhone/iPad/iPod touch app market within the future. There was a good bit of discussion about Androids increase in the last days.

AndroidLib estimates that the Android marketplace will soon have about 100,000 mobile apps. Apple's App Store has more than 225,000. And now you add App Inventor and it's clear Google is trying to do to Android what it did for YouTube. You contribute and the ecosystem grows exponentially. In addition, App Inventor should be a nice way to show off what Android can do.

Now, we have to verify if people have started creating Android apps because now it is possible to use MIT App Inventor to build quality Android applications then published on the Google Play Store and there are very good applications created with App Inventor for Android.

It is updated frequently. Can be used for development, debugging, compilation. Self-completion is very advanced. It is based on IntelliJ IDE specially for Android development
