A serious blue screen vulnerability in Win10
On the evening of January 20, the company 360 said today that it monitored a serious blue screen vulnerability in Win10, which would cause the computer system to crash and display a blue screen, affecting hundreds of millions of users worldwide .
According to 360 research and judgment, this vulnerability blue screen mainly appears in Windows 10 1709 and above systems. When a user uses a Chrome browser to access a certain path, the system will immediately crash and display a blue screen. However, this browser is not the only way to trigger the vulnerability, and accessing it through other methods will also trigger the Win10 system blue screen.
In addition, this vulnerability is likely to be used by hackers in a denial of service attack, that is, the attacker can stop the target machine from providing services, that is, become "paralyzed", causing serious losses to users, especially corporate users.
