Previously, tvOS 14.5 brought color balance adjustments to all available Apple TVs, and supported the latest PlayStation 5 DualSense and Xbox Series X controllers, which can be used to play games. tvOS 14.6 and HomePod 14.6 did not bring them except for bug fixes. More stuff.
Apple TV HD and two-generation Apple TV 4K models are ready to support Apple Music spatial audio and lossless audio. Apple will release this update of Apple Music in June and stated that Apple TV must run tvOS 14.6.
Recently, Apple also revealed that HomePod and HomePod mini will support lossless audio in future software updates, but it is not clear when or what version the smart speaker must run to stream at this higher quality.
HomePod 14.6 is the second update received by Apple's HomePod smart speaker after it was discontinued more than two months ago.
