MacBook Pro with mini-LED screen may be postponed to 2022
The release time of the two notebooks may be later than expected.
There are rumors in the market that Apple plans to redesign 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with mini-LED displays, but the release time of these two notebooks may be later than expected.
Although multiple sources stated that Apple plans to release new MacBook Pro models in the second half of 2021, supply chain news site DigiTimes today claimed that the release of MacBooks with mini-LED displays may be delayed until sometime in 2022 time.
In early March, Apple had postponed the mass production of two new MacBooks from May or June to the second half of this year, which may be a factor in potential release delays.
The new MacBook Pro is expected to be equipped with an improved version of Apple's customized M1 chip.If Apple faces production challenges on the notebook's mini-LED display, then Apple will definitely update the existing MacBook Pro with Apple chips this year as a stopgap measure.
