The new ASUS gaming monitor: the maximum refresh rate is 240Hz
ASUS recently released an updated version of the ROG SWIFT PG279Q monitor, named ROG SWIFT PG279QM gaming monitor.
Compared with standard monitors, ROG SWIFT PG279QM gaming monitor has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a higher refresh rate, with a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz.The design of this product is very similar to the ROG Swift PG32UQ gaming monitor, but the color scheme is slightly different.
The monitor supports NVIDIA's G-SYNC, which can match the refresh rate of the monitor with the frames generated by the GPU.This technology uses a dedicated NVIDIA G-SYNC processor to eliminate defects such as screen tearing and screen freezes, creating a more immersive gaming experience. This dedicated processor also supports NVIDIA's Reflex Latency Analyzer, which detects mouse input time. This technology will give competitive gamers a significant advantage because they will know how long it takes for mouse movements to translate into on-screen movements.
The screen also supports wide color gamut to obtain more vivid and lifelike images, and it also supports HDR.The display provides 95% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, is mainly used for movie content, and has passed VESA Display HDR400 certification.
Asustek has not announced any pricing information, nor has it announced a time to market.
