In a tweet, the whistleblower said that the upcoming 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro will receive "upgraded and improved 1080p webcams."Apple’s latest 24-inch iMac is equipped with a 1080p web camera; however, its MacBook Air and MacBook Pro are still equipped with a 720p camera.Although the camera itself has not changed, Apple said that thanks to the M1 and its latest image signal processor, the image quality of the MacBook has also been improved.

It is worth mentioning that the whistleblower has provided accurate information in the past.In November last year, five months before Apple released the new iPad Pro, the whistleblower said that Apple will bring the M1 chip to the next-generation iPad, which proved to be accurate.

A few days before Apple’s event, the whistleblower released news that the new Mac will use the M1 chip instead of the upgraded “M1X” version.
